This week (Monday, July 9th - Saturday, July 14th ) is  Bring A Friend Week at Perfect Pointe! All classes are invited to bring a friend with them to class (approximately the same age/level please), except for the following classes which are already full for the summer:

1/30/2018 - Priority Registration for 2018 Summer Camps and week long Intensives has started and ends February 9th. Schedules are now available at the desk and on the website. Open Registration for new students begins Saturday, February 10th so please spread the word and tell a friend! :-) Stay tuned for our Summer class schedule coming soon!

1/2/2018 - Welcome back and Happy New Year!

Check out our new Spring Mini Session brochure for new offerings in Creative Movers Toddler Classes, Pre-School, and Hip Hop classes - great for friends or siblings who may have missed out on the full school year session!


Inclement Weather Policy
In the event of inclement weather, Perfect Pointe class cancellations generally follow Arlington County School District closings.  We will also post cancellations on our website and Facebook page for your convenience. If school has been cancelled we may still open for afternoon and evening classes if road conditions improve. When in doubt, always check the website – we try to make closing decisions at least 2 hours prior to any affected classes. You may schedule make-ups for these missed classes - refunds will not be given.

• Yes! We will be having classes on Martin Luther King Day, Monday, January 15th.
  

12/11/2017 - Friends and Family Watch week is this week!
December 11th through December 16th! Families and friends for Jr. and Sr. Pre-School Combo, and Dance Combo 5&6 classes will be invited to dance and play with us for the whole class!

Guests of all other classes will be asked in for the last 10-15 minutes of class for a presentation. Last 20 minutes for Dance Combo 6&7 and 7+.

All dancers are welcome to wear Holiday colors.

11/20/2017 - We will be closed for Thanksgiving Break this Tuesday through Sunday!  Have a safe and happy holiday and we'll see you back in the studio on Monday.

11/1/2017 - Mandatory in-class recital meetings will start on Monday, November 13th and run through Saturday, November 18th. Parents of ALL students, including teens, should plan to join us for the last 15 minutes of class to discuss recital plans and requirements. Recital music and costumes will also be announced at this time. If you can't make the meeting please let us know ahead of time so we can get you the information. This meeting is extremely important for ALL classes.

Reminders:

• November tuition is due this week. Late fees will be charged beginning on the 8th.
• Yes! We will be having classes on Election Day (Tuesday, November 7th) and Veteran's Day (Friday, November 10th).
• We will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday from Tuesday, November 21st through Saturday, November 25th. Happy Turkey Day! :)

10/24/2017 - Tuesday, October 24th through Monday, October 30th is our annual Fall Festival at Perfect Pointe--Students are invited to wear their Halloween costumes to class (with appropriate dance shoes and nothing too scary or movement prohibitive please) and we will have lots of fun games and seasonal music in class--don't miss the fun.

Donate your old unwanted dance and Halloween costumes and plan to shop with us this year! Come by and check out the costumes in Studio A while they last! All proceeds benefit the competition companies.

Reminder: We will be closing early on Tuesday October 31st for Halloween. All classes starting at 4:00PM or later will be canceled. You may schedule make ups if you wish. There will be no company rehearsals.

All students and parents should report to the main lobby at Studio A this week and make sure to check in at the desk to sign a waiver card. Please make sure student names' are in all shoes.

6/6/2017 - Our students and families are the best! To say "thank you!" for another great year in the books, all students have unlimited Free Classes this week- Tuesday, June 6th through Monday, June 12th! So try out a new style, take a bonus class with a friend, try out the next level up, as many classes as you want!
Plus enter to win a free 2017/2018 school year recital costume or a $75 gift certificate to our dancewear boutique! Three ways to enter - by commenting on our Facebook page with your favorite dance style (or a new style you'd like to see us offer!), by attending an extra class this week, or by bringing a new friend to class with you this week! See you at the studio for our last week of 2016/2017 school year!!!

5/30/2017 - Tuesday May 30th through Monday June 5th is "Beach Week!" Dancers are invited to wear their bathing suits or other beachwear to class (being mindful of appropriateness for dancing in, please) and Children's Program Dancers (Jr. Pre-School, Sr. Pre-School, Dance Combo 5&6, Dance Combo 6&7) are asked to bring a beach towel as well.  We will have all beach/summer-themed music, games, and even some summer camp and class give-a-ways!

We will be closed from Saturday May 27th through Monday May 29th for the Memorial Day Holiday

Beach Week!
Tuesday May 30th through Saturday June 3rd is "Beach Week!" Dancers are invited to wear their bathing suits or other beachwear to class (being mindful of appropriateness for dancing in, please) and Children's Program Dancers (Jr. Pre-School, Sr. Pre-School, Dance Combo 5&6, Dance Combo 6&7) are asked to bring a beach towel as well.  We will have all beach/summer-themed music, games, and even some summer camp and class give-a-ways! 10: 00am-7:00pm and Tuesday, May 16th from 10am-4pm. We will see everyone for Dress Rehearsals at George C. Marshall High School on Wednesday, May 17th and Thursday, May 18th. Recital Day is Saturday, May 20th!

5/8/2017 - It's Picture Week at Perfect Pointe! Monday May 8th through Saturday May 13th, remember to come to class on the normal day and time, but in costume with hair and makeup done!  Studio A and Studio C classes should report to Studio A and will do photos first, Studio B classes should report to Studio B to run through dances first, then we will switch..

Please be sure to come even if you don't want photos so you don't miss the chance to rehearse dances in costume and so you're in the class photo! We will also be handing out pre-ordered recital Ts and Volunteer Ts this week.

If you have questions or need help with hair/make-up/costume/picture forms, make sure to arrive early! It is important that we start class on time to keep picture week running smoothly!

3/26/2017 - We will be giving out recital costumes this week (3/27-4/01)! Parents of all students level I and younger (including 7-9 and Combo 7+ classes) should please come back 20 minutes before the end of class to assist with the trying on of costumes and to see a sneak preview of the recital dances we have been working on! We will ensure that all costumes fit appropriately, have all their accessories, and answer any questions you have. Parents of level II and above (including 10-12/9-12/teen classes) should come back 10 minutes before the end of class to see a sneak preview of the recital dance and have any costume questions answered.

3/18/2017 - We will be giving out recital costumes next week (3/27-4/01). Parents of all students level I and younger (including 7-9 and Combo 7+ classes) should please come back 20 minutes before the end of class to assist with the trying on of costumes and to see a sneak preview of the recital dances we have been working on! We will ensure that all costumes fit appropriately, have all their accessories, and answer any questions you have. 3/6/2017 - Last fall we went to Disney World, this fall we're headed to, drum roll please......New York City! :-D

We're so excited to bring this amazing opportunity to our students and families! The trip will occur October 6-9, 2017 (Columbus Day Weekend so you'll only miss one day of school/work) and will include:

Inclement Weather Policy
In the event of inclement weather, Perfect Pointe class cancellations generally follow Arlington County School District closings.  We will also post cancellations on our website and Facebook page for your convenience. If school has been cancelled we may still open for afternoon and evening classes if road conditions improve. When in doubt, always check the website – we try to make closing decisions at least 2 hours prior to any affected classes. You may schedule make-ups for these missed classes - refunds will not be given.

10/23/2016 - It's Fall Festival at Perfect Pointe - Monday Oct. 24h through Saturday Oct. 29th!
Students are invited to wear their Halloween costume to class (nothing too scary or movement prohibitive please) and we will have special games & music. Parents are invited in for the last 5 minutes of class.

Annual Costume Sale-It's not too late! Buy new and used costumes from Perfect Pointe and get ready for Fall Festival and Trick-or-Treating.

We will be closed from Saturday May 28th through Monday May 30th for the Memorial Day Holiday

Beach Week!
Tuesday May 31st through Saturday June 4th is "Beach Week!" Dancers are invited to wear their bathing suits or other beachwear to class (being mindful of appropriateness for dancing in, please) and Children's Program Dancers (Jr. Pre-School, Sr. Pre-School, Dance Combo 5&6, Dance Combo 6&7) are asked to bring a beach towel as well.  We will have all beach/summer-themed music, games, and even some summer camp and class give-a-ways! Stay tuned for details!

5/15/2016 - It's Recital Week!

No regular classes this week, but the office will be open Monday, May 16th from 2:30-7:00pm and Tuesday, May 17th from 10am-4pm. We will see everyone for Dress Rehearsals at Kenmore Middle School on Wednesday, May 18th and Thursday, May 19th. Recital Day is Saturday, May 21st!

Don't forget our recital page has answers to all of the most common recital questions including: "Which dress rehearsal am I in?", "Where is Kenmore Middle School?", and "How do I make a proper ballet bun?" If you have a question that isn't answered on the website, send us an email, give us a call, or come by during office hours Monday or Tuesday. We will resume with our normal 2015/16 School Year class schedule on Monday, May 23rd to kick off Red Carpet Week!

5/7/2016 - It's Picture Week at Perfect Pointe! Monday May 9th through Saturday May 14th, remember to come to class on the normal day and time, but in costume with hair and makeup done!  Studio A classes should report to Studio A as normal and will do photos first, Studio B classes to Studio B to run through dances first, then we will switch.South Arlington classes please report to Studio B.

Please be sure to come even if you don't want photos so you don't miss the chance to rehearse dances in costume and so you're in the class photo! We will also be handing out pre-ordered recital Ts and Volunteer Ts this week.

If you have questions or need help with hair/make-up/costume/picture forms, make sure to arrive early! It is important that we start class on time to keep picture week running smoothly!

4/3/2016 - Priority Registration for the 2016/2017 School Year, Perfect Pointe's 10th Anniversary Year, begins this Friday, April 8th!
Check out the block schedule or full brochure and start planning your classes now so you'll be ready for Friday when current students get first pick of all your favorite classes and times!

3/28/2016 - Recital costumes are here! We will be giving them out this week (3/28-4/02). Parents of all students level 1 and younger (including 7-9 and Combo 7+ classes) should please come back 20 minutes before the wend of class to assist with the trying on of costumes and to see a sneak preview of the recital dances we have been working on! We will ensure that all costumes fit appropriately, have all their accessories, and answer any questions you have. Parents of level II and above (including 10-12/9-12/teen classes) should come back 10 minutes before the end of class to see a sneak preview of the recital dance and have any costume questions answered.

3/7/2016 - Perfect Pointe has been nominated by Washington Family Magazine for the "Best Ballet Studio." To vote just go to http://bit.ly/votepp16 and choose Perfect Pointe under "Best Ballet or Dance Studio", then spread the word!

Priority Registration for 2016 Summer Classes, Camps, and Workshops starts Saturday, January 30th and goes through Friday, February 12th! Schedules are now available at the desk and on the website for classes, camps, and workshops! Be sure to look them over then let us know if you have any questions so you'll be ready to register!  The priority registration links will be e-mailed out early Saturday morning so you can register from home or feel free to call or stop by the desk. Open Registration for new students begins Saturday, February 13th, so please spread the word and tell a friend! :-)

Our summer class schedule also has a few fun new offerings, including more levels of some classes/styles and...wait for it...wait for it...drum roll please...WALT DISNEY WORLD PERFORMANCE TRIP Rehearsal Class!!! That's right, Perfect Pointe is heading to Disney World over Columbus Day weekend 2016 and you're invited! If school has been cancelled we may still open for afternoon and evening classes if road conditions improve. When in doubt, always check the website – we try to make closing decisions at least 2 hours prior to any affected classes. You may schedule make-ups for these missed classes - refunds will not be given.

1/11/2016 - Adults, hit the ground running with your New Year's resolutions-Your first drop-in adult class is FREE in the month of January or sign up for the remainder of the School Year to encourage yourself to come every week and pay NO REGISTRATION FEE. :) We have morning and evening options and no experience is required for Stretch & Strengthening classes!

All through the month of October, if a friend (new students only) mentions your name when enrolling for a class, their registration fee is waived and you receive a $20 studio account credit to use any way you wish! This is a great free week of bonus classes for registered summer students, a great opportunity to try out a new style, bring a friend who might be interested in joining our studio, or get in one last class before you head out on summer travels! 5/18/2015 - It's Picture Week at Perfect Pointe! Saturday May 16th through Friday May 22nd, remember to come to class on the normal day and time, but in costume with hair and makeup done!  Studio A classes should report to Studio A as normal and will do photos first, Studio B classes to Studio B to run through dances first, then we will switch.  South Arlington classes please report to Studio B.

Please be sure to come even if you don't want photos so you don't miss the chance to rehearse dances in costume and so you're in the class photo! We will also be handing out pre-ordered recital Ts and Volunteer Ts this week.

If you have questions or need help with hair/make-up/costume/picture forms, make sure to arrive early! It is important that we start class on time to keep picture week running smoothly!

Ticket Sales open to the public the morning of Wednesday, May 13th!

• If you haven't gone in and reserved seats for yourself yet, act now - even if you only want your 2 free ones, you must go in and pick them out!!!
• Once general sales begin you can buy as many tickets as you would like.  Presale codes will no longer be required. You will still be able to use your comp codes if you have not done so already.
• Remember if you are a green room volunteer on recital day, you do not need a ticket. If you are a "Creative Movers" grown-up who will wait backstage with your "Creative Movers" dancer, you do not need a ticket. Lap children do not need a ticket.

1/31/2015 - Priority Registration for 2015 Summer Classes and Camps starts Tuesday, February 3rd and goes through Monday, February 16th! Schedules are now available at the desk and will be on the website soon! Be sure to look them over then let us know if you have any questions so you'll be ready to register first thing Tuesday morning!  The priority registration links will be e-mailed out early Tuesday morning so you can register from home or feel free to call or stop by the desk. Inclement Weather Policy

Perfect Pointe will follow Arlington County Public Schools for weather related closings. We will also have an announcement of our status at the top of our webpage and posted to our Facebook page. If for any reason you do not feel safe traveling to the studio you are always welcome to schedule a make-up class for weather related absences.

Stuart?" and "How do I make a proper ballet bun?" 5/17/2014 - It's Picture Week at Perfect Pointe! Saturday May 17th through Friday May 23rd, remember to come to class on the normal day and time, but in costume with hair and makeup done!  Studio A classes should report to Studio A as normal and will do photos first, Studio B classes to Studio B to run through dances first, then we will switch.  South Arlington classes please report to Studio B.

Please be sure to come even if you don't want photos so you don't miss the chance to rehearse dances in costume and so you're in the class photo! We will also be handing out pre-ordered recital Ts and Volunteer Ts this week.

If you have questions or need help with hair/make-up/costume/picture forms, make sure to arrive early! It is important that we start class on time to keep picture week running smoothly!

5/12/2014 - Ticket Sales open to the public the morning of Wednesday, May 14th!

• If you haven't gone in and reserved seats for yourself yet, act now - even if you only want your 2 free ones, you must go in and pick them out!!!
• Once general sales begin you can buy as many tickets as you would like.  Presale codes will no longer be required. You will still be able to use your comp codes if you have not done so already.
• Remember if you are a green room volunteer on recital day, you do not need a ticket. If you are a "Mommy & Me" grown-up who will wait backstage with your "Mommy & Me" dancer, you do not need a ticket. Lap children do not need a ticket.

It's Costume Try-On Week at Perfect Pointe

Parents of all students level I and younger (including 7-9 and Combo 7+ classes) should please return 20 minutes early to assist with the trying on of costumes and to see a sneak preview of the recital dances we have been working on! We will ensure that all costumes fit appropriately, have all their accessories, and answer any questions you have. Parents of level II and above (including 10-12/9-12/teen classes) should return 10 minutes early to see a sneak preview of the recital dance and have any costume questions answered.

To kick off Refer A Friend Month -This Week, 9/30 - 10/5, is Bring A Friend Week! Please check the listing here or posted at the studio as some classes are already too full to participate - the class room would become overly crowded.  Mommy & Me, Pre-School, Dance Combo 5 & 6, and Dance Combo 6 & 7 classes that are too full are invited to bring a stuffed animal or doll friend instead.  Older classes that are full will have special in-class activities instead.


Don't Forget - October tuition for monthly payment plans is due this week! Late fees will be charged beginning on the 8th.  Don't want to worry about remembering every month? - You can always put a debit or credit card on file at the desk to be automatically charged or set up auto-pay through your bank!

8/21/2013 - Our Summer session ends on Friday, August 23rd and we're gearing up for a great 2013/2014 school year! One of the things we're doing to prepare is an exciting remodeling project in Studio A which will include a new office/reception area, new dressing rooms, and new flooring in both the studio and waiting area. During the construction period, August 24th through September 7th, we will be available by phone and e-mail for registrations and questions, just not in person at the studio. But this means we won't be around to size or accept shoe orders during the break like we usually would so if you need anything before classes begin,  Robcyn's dancewear at 3660 King St. in Alexandria also sells all required dancewear items.

6/28/2013 - Recital Pictures Are Here! Citrus Street Photography has dropped off all of the picture orders and they are now available for pickup at the studio.  There is generally someone at the desk:

5/4/2013 - We need your help to make Recital 2013 as awesome as it can be!  Parents, if you are able, we need green room volunteers backstage with all classes age Pre-School through Level II for both dress rehearsal and recital day!  We also need volunteers to help with clean-up, handing out programs and more. Sign-up sheets are available in the lobby of both studies.  Ask at the desk for more information and thank you in advance for any help you are able to give - we couldn't do it without you! :-)

10/6/2012 - It was great meeting so many new friends last week! And it's not too late to spread the word - If a friend (new students only) mentions your name when enrolling for a class anytime through the end of October, their registration fee is waived and you receive a $20.00 studio account credit to use anyway you wish!

9/29/2012 - October is Refer A Friend Month at Perfect Pointe! All through the month of October, if a friend (new students only) mentions your name when enrolling for a class, their registration fee is waived and you receive a $20 studio account credit to use any way you wish! Start spreading the word!

To kick off Refer A Friend Month - This week 10/1 - 10/6 is Bring A Friend Week! Please check the listing here or posted at the studio as some classes are already too full to participate - the class room would become overly crowded.  Mommy & Me, Pre-School, Dance Combo 5 & 6, and Dance Combo 6 & 7 classes that are too full are invited to bring a stuffed animal or doll friend instead.  Older classes that are full will have special in-class activities instead.

Don't Forget - October tuition for monthly payment plans is due this week! Late fees will be charged beginning on the 8th.  Don't want to worry about remembering every month? - You can always put a debit or credit card on file at the desk to be automatically charged or set up auto-pay through your bank!

7/27/2012 - Welcome back Miss Kendra, Miss Katie, Miss Dachia, Miss Catherine and Miss Elizabeth from Dance Masters of America Teacher's Training School! They had a great time and are excited about sharing what they've learned.

7/23/2012 - Reminder: There will be no regular classes this week Saturday July 21st, Monday July 23rd, Tuesday July 24th and Thursday July 26th for teacher training.

• Regular classes will be held on Wednesday July 25th to make up for the 4th of July holiday as well as Miss Renee's Mon. 6:30-7:30 Pre-School power outage make-up from 5:30-6:30 on Wednesday. 
• The following make-up classes will be held on Tuesday July 24th to make up for their missed classes during the power outage: Tap I/II & Teen/Adult Beg. Tap 6:30-7:30, Jazz II 7:30-8:30, T/A Beg. Ballet 8:30-9:30. 
• Camps will still be held during teacher training week.
• Desk hours during teacher training week will be 9AM-4:30PM Monday, Thursday, Friday, 9AM-8PM Tuesday & Wednesday.

Next week (Monday July 9 - Saturday July 14) is Bring A Friend Week! Saturday morning 9:30 Mommy & Me and Saturday 9:30 Pre-school are asked to please bring stuffed animal friends only since they are already full. All other classes are welcome to invite people friends (same age/level please). 7/4/2012 - Power is STILL out as of 9PM Wednesday evening. Power was restored to the main level shops earlier today but it appears there was some sort of oversight and the lower level was not reconnected. We have reported the continued outage in the lower level and Dominion had reopened the work order as of 5pm but could not say if crews would be able to get back out before sometime tomorrow... So no morning camp :-( but fingers crossed for afternoon camp & evening classes. We will keep you posted.

7/3/2012 - Power is still out as of 7:30 Tuesday morning but they have to get to us soon, right?!? We are hopeful that we may be able to hold afternoon & evening classes & camps so stay tuned. Information about make-up classes will be e-mailed directly to those affected once we are back up and running fully.  Hope everyone is staying cool & have a safe & happy 4th if we don't see you!

Regular Summer Classes and Camps begin the week of June 25th but FREE PREVIEW WEEK runs June 18th-23rd. :) Whether you're already registered for summer classes or not, come try out any of our great classes free of charge that week and make sure to bring a friend (or 2 or 10)! *No daytime classes (M-F before 4pm) will be held during preview week. 5/14/2012 - Don't forget - extra recital tickets go on sale this Wednesday May 16th! You can purchase additional tickets for the 10am and 1pm recitals on-line (www.showclix.com), over the phone (1.888.71.TICKETS) or in person at the studio.

TICKETS FOR THE 4PM RECITAL ARE CURRENTLY SOLD OUT! If you would like additional tickets for the 4pm recital, please stop by or call the desk to be added to the waiting list.  If you have tickets that you do not need for the 4pm recital (or any other recital), please contact the desk with the seat numbers you wish to return and we will happily issue you a refund and find those tickets a new home!

OTHER REMINDERS:
This Saturday May 19th - Friday May 25th is picture week! Please come to the studio at your normal class day & time but in full costume, hair and make-up.  Order forms are available in the lobbies of both studios and must be turned in when photos are taken for all individual portraits. Please be sure to come even if you do not wish to purchase photos as we would like to get a full class photo and dances will also be rehearsed.

5/7/2012 - We need your help to make Recital 2012 as awesome as it can be!  Parents, if you are able, we need green room volunteers backstage with all classes age Pre-School through Level II for both dress rehearsal and recital day!  We also need volunteers to help with clean-up, handing out programs and more. Sign-up sheets are available in the lobby of both studies.  Ask at the desk for more information and thank you in advance for any help you are able to give - we couldn't do it without you! :-)

5/3/2012 - If you haven't bought your recital tickets yet, here are a few tips we've learned from last night:

1. If at all possible, copy and paste your codes into the box - the biggest issue so far has been people mixing up the letter O and the number 0 in their codes.
2. Make sure you're using the right code for the right recital, a 10AM code will only work for the 10AM recital, etc.
3. Remember the pre-sale code gets you in, then you select all of the tickets that you want for that recital (up to 5) and then on checkout the comp code makes two of them free.  Each pre-sale code will only work once so make sure you've picked the correct number of tickets as you won't be able to get back in to get more until the 16th.

If you have trouble, call ShowClix (1.888.71.TICKETS) or call us!  If you didn't receive the email with your codes, call us!

4/22/2012 - Open Registration for the 2012/2013 School Year has now begun!

It's almost Recital Time! Parents be on the look-out for volunteer sign-up sheets coming soon. We need your help to make the magic happen! No prior experience or special skills are needed and all volunteers receive a super cool limited edition backstage t-shirt along with our sincere thanks for helping make recital a great experience for all the students.

The Perfect Pointe Competition Companies are running a "Parent's Night Out" fundraiser on Friday December 9th, from 6:30pm - 9:00pm in Studio A.  While you enjoy your evening out, your kids will be entertained with dance games, arts & crafts, pizza and a movie.

$35 for 1st child, $30 for siblings, for potty-trained 3 yr olds - 11 yr olds. Sign up at the desk!

Mandatory in-class recital meetings begin next Monday the 14th and run through Saturday the 19th. Parents of ALL students, including teens, should plan to join us for the last 15 minutes of class to discuss recital plans and requirements. Recital music and costumes will also be announced at this time. If you can't make the meeting please let us know ahead of time so we can get you the information.

Recital tickets go on sale Monday May 2nd - Only two weeks away!

• Tickets go on sale Mon. May 2nd at 8:45am.
• All tickets are reserved seating and are available on a first come, first served basis.
• You must select and purchase your tickets in person or have someone else pick them up for you – we cannot take phone or email orders and will not hold tickets for anyone.
• Everyone gets 2 free tickets per child, per recital they are in. Please note that these tickets are free but you still must come pick out your seats.
• Up to 3 additional tickets per family can be purchased on May 2nd for $7 each. Extra tickets will be available beginning on May 16th.
• Mommy & Me moms who will remain backstage with their students will not need tickets, backstage/greenroom volunteers for the day of the recital will not need tickets.
• If anyone in your group will need handicapped seating accommodations, please call or stop by the desk before Monday May 2nd.

The Perfect Pointe Competition Companies are running a "Parent's Night Out" fundraiser on Friday December 10th, from 6:30pm - 9:00pm in Studio A.  While you enjoy your evening out, your kids will be entertained with dance games, arts & crafts, pizza and a movie.

$35 for 1st child, $30 for siblings, for potty-trained 3 yr olds - 11 yr olds.

With December upon us, make sure you know our weather cancellation policy. We follow Arlington County school closings for delays, all day closings, and cancellation of after school/Saturday activities. If schools are closed for the day but road conditions clear by the afternoon, we may still hold afternoon and evening classes. All closings with details will be posted on the homepage of our website and also on the voicemail so call or check the website if there is any doubt.

First Annual Costume Sale: Have old or unwanted dance costumes or Halloween costumes that need a good home? Donate them to Perfect Pointe's Competition Company to help them earn money towards performance expenses! All donations, along with company members' and studio contributions will be on sale in the lobby beginning 10/17.  Help out the company students, get a great costume at a great price, and be green, by buying a recycled costume at Perfect Pointe this year!

8/23/2009 - Perfect Pointe's 2009/2010 School Year Calendar is now available - click on the Upcoming Events tab to the left to view.

We are closed for classes August 23rd through September 13th and will re-open for Fall classes beginning September 14th.  During this break we will be checking phone messages and e-mail and have some limited office hours so please feel free to contact us with any questions, class registrations, etc. We will be taking appointments for shoe sizing and class placements during this time as well, the sooner the better!

• For those of you who are thinking ahead, registration for our week-long, 1/2 day Summer Camps and regular summer classes will begin Friday, Feb. 20th.  Priority registration for next school year will begin towards the end of March.
  
  
• Awesome new classes including Musical Theater Dance, Hip Hop, teen/adult beginner classes, and our usual line-up of children's and other technique classes are forming NOW that will run from mid Feb. through May in addition to our usual classes.  This is a great opportunity to try something new, add another class to your weekly training, or tell a friend who's been looking to join.

1/2/2009 - Welcome Back and Happy 2009!

Please take a moment to review our inclement weather class cancellation policy:

• If Arlington County schools have a delayed start, all Perfect Pointe classes starting before 11am will be canceled.
• If Arlington County schools close early or cancel after school activities, Perfect Pointe classes starting after the time of the school closing will be canceled. Saturday classes follow Arlington County schools cancellation of Saturday activities.
• If Arlington County schools close for a full day, all Perfect Pointe daytime classes will be canceled - classes starting 3pm or later may be held if the weather clears, check the website or call the studio to confirm.
• Make-ups may be scheduled in a similar class for any classes canceled due to inclement weather.  Refunds will not be given.

12/15/2008 - Welcome to Family Watch Week

• Mommy & Me, Pre-School, and Kinderdance families are invited in to dance and play with us for the whole class this week.
• Level I and up families will be invited in for the last 15 minutes to see what we've been working on.

Reminders:

• This is the last week to pre-order recital t-shirts and DVDs at the discounted rate as well as the last week to pay for recital costumes if you are going to be in the spring recital.

• Perfect Pointe is closed for Holiday Break from Tuesday Dec. 23rd through Saturday Jan. 3rd. - Have a safe and happy holiday!

12/8/2008 - If you have not yet paid for your recital costume, please do so NOW!  All costumes must be ordered before our holiday break in order for your student to be in the show.

Tuesday through Monday Dec. 16th - 22nd is Family Watch Week and the last week before the holiday break (Dec. 23rd - Jan. 3rd). Come see what we've learned!

• Students are invited to wear Fall colors or their Halloween costumes to class next week (Oct. 27th-Nov.1st). Normal dance shoes are still required.  We'll have some special fun and games, and parents will be invited in for the last 5-10 minutes for a costume parade &/or dance presentation. 
• Next week is also the last week for Refer A Friend and 1/2 off Adult Jazz Promotions - see us at the desk for more information.
